Sr. Permitting Technician-Grade 9

The Senior Permitting Technician manages and supports the pipeline permitting process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manages the pipeline permitting (road, stream and railroad crossings) for all new and replacement pipelines in WV & PA.
* Works with different agencies to prepare and submit all stream crossing permits, road entrance permits, highway crossing permits and railroad crossing permits, in accordance with their requirements.
* Manages relationships with state permitting personnel to ensure timely approval of crossings.
* Tracks public notices to newspapers and certified mail for all permitting documents.

REQUIREMENTS:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Three years of permitting/land experience.
* Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks.
* Ability to effectively communicate with customers and various levels of external and internal organizations.
* Strong customer service skills.
* Experience with WV-DEP permitting preferred.
* Experience with Microsoft Office preferred.
