Staff Environmental Engineer

Conestoga-Rovers & Associates (CRA) has an opening in its Tacoma, WA office for a Staff Engineer who aspires to become an active employee in a vibrant, well-established engineering, environmental, construction, and IT consulting firm. The successful candidate will be involved in the full range of environmental and engineering services performed by CRA for our clients.  Typical projects will include environmental investigations, feasibility studies, remedial design and construction, plant decommissioning, municipal and plant engineering, permitting, energy and agricultural services.

 

Responsibilities will include:Engineering design calculationsSupervision of engineering drawing preparationPreparation of specifications, bid documents, contractsCost estimating and schedulingData review, analyses and evaluationPreparation / review of technical plans and reportsConstruction management and oversightProject coordination / managementImplementation of the CRA corporate and project specific health and safety programs

 

The level of project coordination / management responsibilities will depend upon experience.

 

Position Requirements:

 BS degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Chemical Engineering 2 to 5 years of relevant experience Good organizational and writing skills Highly motivated and able to work independently or as a member of project teams 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER and current 8-hour Refresher preferred Must also be able to work well with others in a small office environment Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
