SUMMARY The Stock Administration Specialist will play a critical role in SunPower’s equity programs, supporting the Equity Manager with the day-to-day administration of SunPower’s stock program. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Administration- Process and administer stock option grants, exercises, cancellations and terminations.- Process and administer restricted stock, restricted stock units and stock appreciation rights, including awards, releases, cancellations, and terminations.- Track online grant and award acceptance. Follow up on outstanding documents.- Monitor Forms W8-BEN & W-9 submission. Obtain all missing documents before stock release date.- Track expiration dates of stock options.- Interface with various service providers including brokerage firms and transfer agent. Reporting / Accounting- Generate grant, exercise and cancellation reports on an as needed basis.- Reconcile exercises with Payroll transactions.- Reconcile transfer agent records.- Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley processes are followed and compile supporting documentation for testing and compliance.- Generate “Stock Closing Statement” for terminated employees.- Verify terminations in system. Employee Support / Education- Respond to employee inquiries regarding grant process and account activation in a timely and professional manner.- Help organize various stock educational seminars. Miscellaneous- Work on various ad hoc assignments relating to the stock program.- Assist with tracking of mobile employees. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE - Bachelor’s degree or related experience. BA in Finance, Accounting or related discipline preferred.- 4+ years of work experience working for a public or multinational company.- Background in Stock Administration, Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits or Finance & Accounting is ideal, with some degree of experience or exposure to stock administration.- Understanding of various equity awards, including stock options and restricted stock. QUALIFICATIONS - Detail oriented and organized individual.- Ability to handle many duties with time sensitive deadlines.- Strong overall communication and time management skills.- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel- Good operating knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).- Strong sense of initiative and discretion due to highly confidential nature of work.Ability to work within team environmentSunPower offers an attractive compensation package that consists of a competitive salary and equity.
