Structural Engineer

EN Engineering, (www.enengineering.com), the Midwest's largest oil, gas, and pipeline engineering consulting firm is currently seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer to add to their growing Transmission department. 

Required Qualifications:A Bachelor's Degree in Engineer, Structural or Structural emphasis preferred Strong working knowledge of AutoCad and/or Microstation software Five years prior experience preferred in civil/structural design in the gas pipeline industry is a plus Ability to perform civil design in a 3D environment is a plus

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Conducting field site visits to gather data required for project plan development Constructing dimensional relationship of one part to another and a relationship of various parts to entire project, utilizing knowledge of engineering practices and mathematics Creating a preliminary or final sketch of proposed drawing, using computer-assisted design/drafting equipmentDesigning concrete and steel supports, including above- and below-ground supports, as they relate to supporting pipe in the gas pipeline industry Modifying drawings for Jr Engineers and DraftersProvide structural analysis and calcualtions as required
