Duties and Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities for the Supervisor Field Services includes electric and gas major project work processes; supervising electric and gas customer service technicians, designers, design specialists, expeditors, clerks, etc. via coaching, counseling, performance planning and management, hiring and disciplining; performs project management for process and continuous improvement implementation. Additionally, the Supervisor Field Services establishes group work goals and ensures the effectiveness of employees through individual performance management, timely feedback, and collaboration with employees on their personal development plans, targeting training and securing resources for training delivery.

 

 

Education and Experience Requirements: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline and at least three years of experience in supervision or working in a team environment. In lieu of the degree, candidates with five or more years of experience in supervision or working in a team environment will be considered. Candidates must possess proven leadership and decision making abilities, as well as strong organization, interpersonal staff/team development, communication, coaching, motivating skills; as well as demonstrated orientations in diversity and customer service. Candidates must also be computer literate in employing E-Mail, Microsoft Office software; understand work flow processes to effectively influence/communicate the need for development or modification of tools/training that support the work management process. General knowledge of administrative code; rates; rules, and regulations for electric and gas services is a plus.
