Critical employee for maintenance and operation of transmission's EMS/SCADA computer systems that interface with SOC, TOCs, EMO, and ICT-SPP support groups. Directly responsible to ensure for mission critical safeguard of both EMS and AFC backup data is maintained and that the related FERC/NERC-CIP; OoR and SOX Compliancy Regulatory Standards are met. Responsible for direct supervision of six (6) staff Systems Analysts and over-sight of related system responsibilities. Manage and approve Remedy problem Resolution processes and develop Change Management infrastructure process and procedures being developed. Individual will be heavily engaged to ensure that proper Systems design and deployment planning is maintained for implementation of two (2) new data centers within the scope of HOST Plan Project(s). Position is a key component to develop new system security ITIL best practices; remote console access methodology; system disk capacity analysis and system monitoring tools to support remote distributed infrastructure in hetrogenious multiple operating system environment to include VMS-Unix Tru64; Linux-RedHat, OpenVMS and Windows disciplines. Must be have systems SME experience. Must have Supervisory Administrative skills to deal with diversity. The position reports directly to the EMS/Scada Infrastructure Manager position.

 

Qualifications

B.S. Computer Science or equivalent. M.I.S. Professional Certifications a Plus. Proven Supervisory experience of 3 years and 5 years of Technical Systems Supervisory experience.
