We are currently seeking Quality Engineers to work with the multiple suppliers of raw materials to our plant in Fairless Hills PA

Primary Responsibilities:

•Objective execution of all responsibilities. Interact with suppliers and customers in a professional and respectful manner.

•Quality assurance of all components and raw materials under his/her responsibility

•Qualification of all Suppliers

•Homologation (Quality Qualification) of components & raw materials

•Management of series production Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) issues: COC’s, deviations, concerns, changes, NCR’s, 8D’s, DR’s, etc.

•Implementation and use of GAMESA Procedures and tools for SQA – including NCR’s, 8D’s, audits, homologation, database, timely reporting, and other procedures and tools as communicated.

•Support and help the supplier to fulfill GAMESA quality requirements

•Single point of contact with the supplier for quality issues

•Quality representative within GAMESA for the Supplier

•Supplier performance follow-up and action taking

•Provide support to GAMESA customer quality team

•Provide support to plant quality and services quality

Secondary Responsibilities:

•Back up support during other SQE’s vacations / illness

•Second auditor during audits of suppliers / items not under his/her primary responsibility

Qualifications:

•3-5 years experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment
•Bachelors Degree Required - Masters Degree Preferred
•Experience with processed metals and casting


Preferred Licenses/Certifications:

•Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, CQA, CQE preferred.
