The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:

 

SUPERVISOR – NUCLEAR FIN MAINTENANCE

 

Summary of Responsibilities

Supervise and schedule maintenance work on plant electrical equipment.  Supervise and coordinate daily electrical maintenance work on plant equipment and facilities consistent with standardized FENOC Fleet practices, policies, and procedures.  Directly supervise craft and contractor personnel and assign work tasks to ensure due dates and completion standards are met.  Enforce the terms of the Company/union agreement.  Promptly investigate and settle grievances.  Interface with other groups to resolve issues.  Perform emergency response organization duties as assigned.

 

Summary of Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of an Associate's Degree in a related field or the equivalent career related skills and experience (formal technical training with a minimum of 5 years practical experience in the utility field and/or other related experience, (technical and supervisory).  INPO ACAD 90-10 qualification desired. Must meet minimum experience and educational requirements of ANSI-N18.1.  Knowledge, training and experience should be at the advanced level in one or more of these following areas: Possess a working knowledge of power plant layout and construction, knowledge of Electric Utility steam generating power plant operations to include turbines, generators and associated control and auxiliary equipment.  Knowledge of Electrical equipment to include, but not limited to motor, transformer, turbine generator,breakers, HVAC and Emergency Diesel Generators.

Must have effective written and oral communications and interpersonal skills.  Must have PC skills that include Microsoft applications.  Must be able to work shift schedules, temporary schedules and overtime.  Must possess a valid driver's license.  Must be able to travel with possible overnight stays.
