Systems Analyst/ Associate to Senior

Successful candidates must have the ability to work directly with customers, solve problems and manage customer expectations in a fast paced, demanding environment. Experience with IT applications and services supporting Energy or Financial Trading is desired. This position provides support for designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating computer programs for business areas. Analyzes current technology programs and formulates new systems. In conjunction with senior team members plans, coordinates, implements and delivers solutions in a fast-paced environment; designs, develops and supports critical systems to maximize availability for all system users; develops conversion and system implementation plans; prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation; and recommends changes in development, maintenance, and system standards. Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors.

Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or Computer Science preferred. Up to four years experience in a developed/technology environment, familiar with application development and the interaction between application development and database architecting. Experience in a relational database environment preferred. Experience in web development as well as distributed application development and maintenance preferred.
