Systems Analyst (Production & Midstream)-Grade 12/14 (2 Positions)

The Systems Analyst, Production and Midstream Applications develops, implements and maintains applications that support and serve Production and Midstream interests. Also, designs detailed specifications from user requirements, codes computer applications from detailed specifications, implements computer applications into production environment, maintains application's source code, develops technical system and end-user documentation and interfaces applications within our current environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Performs as part of a team in maintaining an operationally stable environment that aligns with Production and Midstream short- and long-term goals.
* Adheres to the Equitable Delivery Process as a project management methodology.
* Works with Business Analyst to maintain product documentation for releases, upgrades, and enhancements.
* Develops software including technical design and documentation of process/application/interface.
* Operates as part of a development team to develop and document deployment packages for process/application/interface software.
* Creates code following application design specifications.
* Develops and executes unit-test plans for developed code.
* Abides by department standard operating procedures and corporate development standards.
* Collaborates with Business Analyst to create/maintain training documentation for classroom training sessions.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a closely related field.
* At least two years software development experience.
* Proficient knowledge of VB6 and SQL.
* Ability to develop systems using MS SQL Server and/or Oracle as a RDBMS.
* Ability to develop code from use cases.
* Ability to use development tools such as VSTS, VSS, and HP (formerly Mercury) Quality Center.
* Ability to develop reports using Crystal Reports.
* Ability to use Microsoft Office Tool set including Visio, PowerPoint and Project.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment.
* Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work in a strong team environment.
* Ability to develop reports using Cognos Reports preferred.
* Proficient knowledge of VB.Net, ADO.Net, ASP.Net, and smart client technology preferred.
* Other related certifications preferred.
* Gas industry systems experience preferred.
