Coordinating purchasing/procurement efforts as part of an inter-company global team. ? Requesting supplier quotations. ? Conducting total cost/value analysis to determine sourcing and cost-related activities. ? Negotiating agreements with suppliers to manage inventory, quality cost, and obtain best terms and conditions for the company. ? Participating in or facilitating supplier certi?cation, material substitutions, ?rst article sample process, material testing, control and inspection plans, and resolution of quality and design issues. Position Qualifications Bachelor?s Degree in mechanical engineering. High Voltage Parts Specialist The successful candidate will be responsible for: ? Preparing quotations for parts/retro?t related inquiries for all product lines supported by the HV Service Division utilizing the existing pricing structure and ensure expected gross margin targets on all quotations. ? Identifying parts sales opportunities with alliance customers and working to acquire the business. ? Developing new offerings to meet emerging customer needs. ? Teaming with Regional Marketing Managers to merge both service and after market product offerings. ? Establishing on-hand inventory levels and safety stock with Supply Management and Shop Operations. Position Qualifications Associate Degree in a technical field preferred. Field Service Technician The successful candidate will be responsible for: ? Performing a variety of moderately complex, semi-technical field assignments involving the installation, modification, testing, or troubleshooting of company products and equipment. ? Working during non-standard hours and at field locations with varying environmental conditions. ? Working with customer personnel on recommended techniques and suggesting operational improvements. Position Qualifications Associates degree in engineering. Candidates must be willing to travel 80% of the time. May include international travel. Gas Insulated Switchgear Field Service Engineer The successful candidate will be responsible for: ? Providing on-demand services, system maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrading and modification works on site according to schedule, contract and/or customer requirements. ? Installation and commissioning. ? Providing technical support to customers and internal users so that problems are resolved efficiently. Position Qualifications Bachelor?s degree in engineering. Candidate must be willing to travel 80% of the time. This includes domestic and international travel.
