Technical Account Manager/Boiler Engineer

This person will be a key member of our growing engineering team.    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: *Help develop Proposal strategies.*Provide support to Sales & Marketing team*Instrumental in plant improvement solutions.*Establish close customer relationships at Engineering and Corporate levels.*Estimate engineering project cost and schedules and participate in proposal presentation.*Responsible for development, release and maintenance of complex technical documentation.*Knowledge and ASME industry standards.*Diagnose problems and recommend solutions.*Establish new approach and techniques to achieve continuous improvement in all product development processes and engineering input to proposals.*Prepare papers assessing technical risks associated with the project and the capability of engineering team to execute the design and technical requirements efficiently and cost effectively. Key duties include a/ pressure part, boiler and piping design including supports and attachments and b/ ductwork, expansion joints, structures and pipe support design. Responsibilities include recommending material upgrades and substitutions, resolving code compliance issues, establishing parts upgrades for pressure parts and auxiliary equipment (doors, seals, seal boxes) for coal-fired steam generator equipment. Qualifications include a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering with membership in a U.S. Professional Engineering association and 5 plus years related work experience. Familiarity with boiler design, corrosion and metallurgy is an asset.     QUALIFICATIONS: 1. BSME or ChemE and minimum of 4 years of experience or like Masters degrees and minimum 2 years of experience.2.
