About the Technical Communications Editor:
ePsolutions is looking to hire an experienced Technical Communications Editor to join the team. We are looking for a highly motivated, goal-oriented individual who will be responsible for product positioning and messaging to support marketing communication and lead generation activities. The Technical Communications Editor will serve as a liaison between multiple departments within the company, and ideal candidates will have strong experience in writing articles, brochures, and reports for marketing purposes, and will be able to create clear and concise messaging for all assignments. Experience in the utility industry is a plus. Candidates should be flexible, analytical, enthusiastic, excellent team players, able to work efficiently under deadlines, and capable of managing multiple projects at once.

Responsibilities:
 Analyzes customer behavior and market trends to quantify market messaging requirementsRecognizes and develops unique messaging for the variety of constituents ePsolutions sells to within enterprisesCommunicates with team leads to develop and coordinate concept, copy, graphic design, and final deliverablesPromotes consistent internal messaging and product positioning to ensure effective communications by company sales, engineering, and support organizationsDevelop effective corporate messaging that drives awareness of ePsolution’s range of productsAudits all communications to verify accuracy and consistency of product definition and positioningLeads the creation of customer success stories, white papers, and other written materials as neededWrites, edits, and proofs content and copy for a variety of purposes, including written marketing collateralSuccessfully manages multiple projects from concept to publication under tight deadlines Works with in-house and outsourced design specialists to create a professional final product

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field4+ years technical writing and communications editing experienceAble to prioritize and manage multiple projects, meeting demanding deadlinesExcellent organizational and analytical skillsProven track record or conceiving, developing, and writing compelling copy for a variety of purposes and audiencesAble to translate highly technical information into user-friendly formatsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong editorial skillsDemonstrated capacity for helping develop and understand marketing strategyStrong aptitude for determining the best way to position products in the marketProven success working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentSoftware or other technical product experience required; large data center exposure a plus
