Technical Communications Specialist(Mid-Level)
Energetics is accepting applications for a Mid-Level Technical Communications Specialist to work in our Columbia, MD location.
Education/Experience: This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Policy, or related degree. Candidates with degrees in science or engineering who possess superior communications skills will also be considered. Candidates must also have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience, preferably in energy or environmental consulting.
Responsibilities: Energetics is looking for a superior Technical Communications Specialist to provide high-level support to clients in government, private companies, and trade associations. Main responsibilities include: developing communications products such as fact sheets, brochures, articles for technical and business publications, press releases, briefings, speeches, and website content.
Skills/Abilities: Candidates must possess exceptional writing, editing and presentation skills; strong interpersonal and organizational skills; attention to detail; and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups. Proficiency required in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Access).
