Are you looking for a position with the potential for growth with a company whose work impacts the well being and future of our environment?  The Technologist: Lighting works within the Power Delivery & Utilization (PDU) sector with responsibility to facilitate the set up and operation of lighting research testing in the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) Lighting Laboratory. This position will focus on learning more about the relationship between the quality of light, lighting system operation, power quality, and system compatibility.

Job Functions: Set up and conduct basic, advanced, and exploratory lighting research testsAssist and prepare technical reports regarding lighting researchAssistance in conducting lighting audits and field investigations

 

Education Level and Years of Experience:Associates or Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or college offering specialization or concentration in Lighting Design5 years experience in lighting research, development, or test laboratoryOptional certification by the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions (NCQLP)
