Terminal Manager
Description:The Terminal Manager directs the day-to-day activities of the Terminal as they pertain to the receipt, storage and handling of bulk petroleum products. He/She is required to keep the facility in regulatory compliance and is on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week, including holidays. The Terminal Manager conducts incident investigations, root cause analysis and compliance audits as required.The Richmond terminal is a key asset in supplying refined products from the bp West Coast refineries (Cherry Point and Carson) to the Northern California markets. Richmond is currently in the midst of an optimization effort to provide maximum operational flexibility and trading optionality in this respect. The terminal has a current throughput capacity of 400 Mgal/year, have 740 Mbbls or storage, operates a four (4) lane truck loading rack, has two (2) marine docks and a five (5) spot ethanol rail-offloading facility.Qualifications:Prior supervisory experience in operations leadership, preferably with 5 years experience in managing terminals. - College degree preferred or 5 years industry and management experience.- Knowledge of terminal operating and regulatory requirements (preference for knowledge of DOT regulations and MTSA requirements) - Strong HSSE track record and knowledge - Familiar with Integrity Management - Experience with marine operations - Effective oral and written communication skills - Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook - Strong interpersonal communication skills - Ability to establish relationships with customers, suppliers, community, government and regulatory agencies, as neededSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceJob Location: Richmond, CAJob Number: RUSABP3120-592909Company Profile:Our business is the exploration, production, refining, trading and distribution of energy.
