Test Development Technician (Floor Support)

Test Development Technician (Floor Support)Responsibilities: Perform station support including script and hardware repairs. Possess the ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams. Fit, align, and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet product operating requirements. Assist with the root cause analysis of test station failures. Train production testing staff on existing test procedures. Follow and improve test development processes. Qualifications: Two-year electronic technology associate degree Minimum of two years manufacturing test/test development experience Strong knowledge of modern analog and digital electronics and electronic circuits Familiarity with modern test equipment Strong writing and speaking skills Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment Background check results satisfactory to SEL Preferred Qualifications: Experience with computer controlled test equipment Knowledge of SEL products Knowledge of C programming An Award Winning Company Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc.
