We are looking for experienced people to grow a Utility Transmission and Distribution Asset Management practice, at the Manager and Senior Manager level. High Performance T&D Asset Management has become a critical enterprise business capability that brings together many aspects of asset investment planning and prioritization, lifecycle asset management, as well as installed asset optimization.

Key responsibilities may include:

* Shaping and leading programs that translate process application and/or integration shortfalls into transformation programs/projects
* Articulating application and integration strategy and architecture point of view and thought leadership for business solutions
* Envisioning new and innovative approaches and predicting probable business outcomes
* Establishing total cost of ownership metrics for actual impacts of application implementation
* Influencing client direction based on application design and architecture
* Defining solution architecture
* Shaping and leading large-scale application design and architecture activities
* Establishing acceptance of designs with client executives
* Translating and conveying impact of process and system changes to bottom line
* Shaping and leading large scale application build, test, and deploy activities
* Assessing and managing risk and issues throughout all aspects of the application implementation
* Extensive travel to clients** location required, candidate's location is negotiable


Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

* 5 years of experience in the Utilities, Transmission and Distribution industry including extensive experience with Asset Management in Electric or Gas
* Bachelors Degree

Preferred Skills:

Previous experience with a large professional service organization
* Experience with three or more of the key aspects of Asset Management listed below associated with the Utility T&D business area, either through direct Utility work experience or relevant consulting experience
o Asset investment planning and management
o Risk assessment, criticality, and optimization
o Capital and O&M (Operation and Mainenance) program and project prioritization
o Capital spend monitoring and reporting
o Asset portfolio/program and project management
o Maintenance planning
o Resource planning (related to capital and O&M spend)
o Outage / access planning (related to capital and O&M spend)
o T&D asset / equipment performance and condition management
* Business process design to support the transmission and distribution functions of a Utility
* Understanding of the major issues and risks associated with a High Performance Asset Management program implementation
* Program and Project management skills (e.g., estimating, work planning, project reporting and tracking, project budget management, and issue management) with a strong delivery record
