Position Overview:Chevron North America Exploration and Production is accepting online applications for the position of Well Data Management Coordinator located in Midland, Texas through May 12, 2008.Primary functions involve support for the LOWIS software tool and associated Base Business Well Reliability Optimization process which includes Well Surveillance and Monitoring, Well Analysis and Review, Well Opportunity Management, Wellwork Lookbacks and Lessons Learned; The role requires strong computer skills, participation in the MCA expense and capital well business processes, strong communication skills for mentoring and training, enterprise-wide mindset to bridge best practices and technologies across Area and SBU boundaries and the ability to analyze data and turn it into meaningful information that can drive improvement into the business.Qualifications:Key Job Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:Support the LOWIS software tool at the MCA and CNAEP levels including the ability to identify data integrity issues, understand data flow and system outputs, troubleshoot system problems and supply logic for software enhancements. Participate in the WRO processes and MCA Base Business audits including guest auditor in SJVBU and GOMBU as well as CNAEP BB network meetings. Query and analyze data to support the WRO process including well optimization, queue management, operational lookbacks, wellbore component failures as well as developing and tracking MCA internal and external metrics.
