Wind Energy - Wind Towers - Product Sales and Marketing Manager

An international manufacturer of Wind Energy Products is looking for a Product Sales and Marketing Manager to work directly with the President of the Company.  This well known company is looking to expand their market share.  They are looking for an experienced applicant with 2 plus years experience in the Wind Energy Industry. Qualified applicants with bring product and industry knowledge crucial to company growth.

Listed below are some of the key responsibilities of the position:

 Collaborate with the Manager on establishing national sales objectives, strategies the Western Region.

 Prepare and submit annual sales forecasts.

 Recommend annual operating budget forecasts

 Meet or exceed sales objectives and operating plans.

 Develop and maintain an accurate file on all active and potential specifiers, purchasers and end users.

 Perform specification sales promotion with key engineering firms, governmental agencies and industrial users.

 Ensure that end users, engineers, applicators, and contractors are provided with current product information.

 Develop and maintain current information about the capabilities of contractors

 Review customers’ product specifications and make appropriate recommendations for updating.

 Provide project information for the preparation of quotations including project title, location, potential bidders, bid date, specification details, project requirements, alternate materials or products, and competitive pricing.

 Attend pre-bid meetings, bid openings, and pre-construction meetings when appropriate for major projects to assure correct understanding and application of our products.

 Participate in bidding projects and maintain contact and follow up with owners, contractors, engineers, applicators, and suppliers through project award, receipt of the order, and completion of the project.

 Obtain data required for developing sales and promotional aids.

 Report monthly to progress toward sales objectives and promotional activities.

 Perform in accordance with company policies and procedures.
