Wind Turbine Technician

Responsibilities: Assist installation of cabling, electrical components, and devices following erection of Wind Turbine Generator towers. Use hand and power tools, including torque wrenches and electrical test equipment and submit records of such tests. Self motivated, energetic, and possess a positive attitude with the ability to  work as part of a team, as well as, independently. Safe work habits for the individual and the team.  Perform a wide variety of tasks for the electrical construction of wind turbines throughout the United States.

Qualifications and skills: Work indoors and outdoors in a variety of conditions and a broad range of temperatures. Work at heights up to 300 feet and in confined spaces, good physical condition, ladder climbing and heavy lifting of 60 lbs or more. Pre-employment and random drug test. Valid driver’s license. Complete safety training courses upon hire

Education and experience: At least one year of mechanical experience and some electrical knowledge Attend company sponsered technical training and apprenticeship programs Perfer experience with wind turbine electrical installation.
