Application Administrator/PROGRAMMER

 

In this role, you will provide technical support to the team for AutoCAD, Staad, Caesar, Myriad and other Engineering applications as well as be an Administrator, Install, customize (if required), and maintain OS and software to support the Engineering group and system documentation. Additional requirements include but are not limited to:

 

* Coordinate and/or conduct training, as needed, for AutoCAD, Staad, Caesar, Myriad users.

*Coordinate the installation and maintenance of a local server, which will function as a licenses server for mechanical engineering

* Suggest performance tuning changes and present possible solution for consideration by EIT group.

* Maintain CAD systems' images. Coordinate with IT Helpdesk on all activities required for deployment of new systems to the engineering department.

* Maintain in-house Engineering Applications.

 

This position requires an Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; good customer relations skills; Proficiency in AutoCAD; Good problem-solving and documentation skills; Appreciation and ability to follow process and procedures; Proficiency with office productivity software effectively (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Programming Languages needed: VB.Net, C++, Fortran and Scripting.
