AUTOCAD DESIGNER (ELECTRICAL DEPT)

One of the area's most prominent engineering firms has an opening for a talented Autocad Designer to join its team at their downtown office.

The Designer will use Autocad to perform electrical design tasks. Some of the design tasks include:  lighting calculations, selection and lay out of lighting fixtures, design of various manual and automatic lighting controls and related branch circuit design as well as lthe lay out general convenience receptacles for commercial buildings.

Requirements:

At least 3-5 years experience with design in addition to having demonstrated proficiency using Autocad. Would also consider a recent Electrical Engineer graduate with less experience than 5 years. Basic knowledge of electrical distribution equipment and how to apply it to building design. Knowledge of fundamental electrical formulas.
