Accounting Technician

SNC-Lavalin Constructors Inc., located in Bothell, WA, is recognized for unparalleled excellence in engineering and construction of power generation plants both domestically and internationally.  We have an immediate need for an individual to provide a high level of professionalism to the following position(s):

 Accounting Technician

 

Under direction of the Manager of Accounting, perform a variety of duties related to receivables function, such as, preparation and recording of customer invoices, review and report on customer accounts aging, maintenance of project invoice files, and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.

 

The ideal candidate will have three to five years experience in Accounting Receivables, including two years experience performing this role on an integrated accounting application.  Additionally, the candidate must have an understanding of the general ledger month end closing process as it relates to A/R. Use of ten key calculator and minimal typing skills, use of computerized accounting systems and the ability to establish effective relationships throughout operational groups. Strong knowledge of accounting concepts is required. Good communication skills, including oral and written.
