Lear Siegler Services, Inc. (LSI) is immediately hiring an Administrative Assistant III supporting our aircraft maintenance operations facilities at Ft. Lewis, WA. Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years recent experience with production, accounting / finance, payroll and associated office management responsibilities is required. Requires excellent organizational, computer and written / verbal communication skills. Requires ability to work independently as well as in a fast paced team environment.Familiarity with documentation and reporting procedures associated with electronic payroll time keeping, production and Government contract funding / billing is highly desired. Must demonstrate thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office PC software (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Access.) Must be able to meet physical demands of position and pass/maintain any related medical examination requirements required to perform assigned daily tasks.May be required to pass and maintain a U.S. Government background security check. Job Description : Provides administrative support and tracking of funding requirements for Project OLR West at Fort Lewis, WA.Duties and Responsibilities to include but are not limited to the following:* Prepare reports associated with, but not limited to, time and attendance, billing and production. * Perform financial, accounting and special project tasks for Site Management to include, but not limited to: budget tracking and reconciliation, cost projections, historical production / billing research and other special projects. * Prepares, proofreads and distributes letters, reports, briefings, proposals and other correspondence. Also prepares special or on-time reports, summaries, analyses or replies to inquiries under general direction.* Performs payroll related activities utilizing Deltek Time Collection internet based system of time keeping to include the printing, distribution, auditing, entering and generation of reports associated with time / labor data.* Performs in/out processing of newly hired / transferring employees.Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested by Site Supervisor. Typical duties include: assisting in a variety of administrative matters; maintaining a wide variety of financial or other records; verifying statistical reports for accuracy and completeness; and handling and adjusting complaints. May also direct lower level clerks.
