Administrative Assistant for US Coast Guard Training Program

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field and five years of job related experience or equivalent. Good communication and analytical skills, self-motivated, detail and customer-oriented. Excellent attention-to-detail and administrative accuracy is required. Experience with MS Word, Excel, and Access is required. Experience with MS Project and PowerPoint is desired. Individual must possess planning and organizing skills and must be able to work under deadlines. Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. Position may require travel.Successful candidate will have worked in a field that required good written communications skills, working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work. Job Description : Program Management Support/Administrative Assistant for US Coast Guard Training Program.Provide contractor technical support services for United States Coast Guard Fast Response Cutter B Training Program. This includes: developing and maintaining filing systems, tracking correspondence and interfacing with customer on administrative issues and distributing correspondence to recipients. Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel and Access for processing correspondence and maintaining spreadsheets and routine databases for management of filing systems. Review, evaluate and provide assessments of technical and non-technical program reports, research specific areas and prepare findings. Assist in the generation of Logistics metrics reports and perform trend analysis to identify problem areas. Generate meeting documentation and other meeting materials, including attendance sheets, and metrics statistical reports. Generate and maintain documentation records and binders for program information, contract changes, team schedules for meetings, leave and travel calendars. Arrange for meeting rooms, set up for meetings and take minutes as required.
