Aegis EMX Senior Engineer

Education: BS Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Physics, or Mathematics and a minimum of 10 years of job-related experience. Equivalent military training and work experience in the E3 disciplines may be considered.Work Experience Field: Knowledge of AEGIS Combat System, Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD), SPY-1, SPS-49, DR-COSIP EMX, spectrum management requirements, processes, and tools for DOD acquisition and operations worldwide; knowledge of system electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and methods or techniques of analysis and testing to resolve incompatibilities; knowledge of commercial, airborne, and shipboard-based RF systems, antennas, electromagnetic propagation, measurement and signal processing techniques.Special Skills: _Excellent communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems. Position may require travel. Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. Job Description : Essential Job Function: Support a broad range of technical, engineering, analytical/empirical, acquisition, and management functions to investigate and resolve Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) problems.
