Applications Engineer

AGC Heat Transfer is a dynamic and fast growing plate heat exchanger manufacturer based in Northern Virginia. Due to on-going rapid growth, AGC Heat Transfer is seeking an Applications Engineer to complement its engineering and sales team. Applications Engineer



Level: Entry

Dept: Technical Sales and Support

Business Unit: Sanitary Plate Heat Exchangers

Location: Bristow, VA



Duties:Design of thermal fluid systems using proprietary software.Preparation of reports and quotations for current and prospective customers.Technical troubleshooting and product support via phone and E-mail.Oversee order entry, approval of drawings, and fabrication to ensure timely delivery of products.Occasional travel for field service of products.



Education: Technical Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.



Experience: Up to 3 years experience in technical field preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.Competent use of Internet data resources and E-mail.



Skills and Abilities:Able to apply existing knowledge towards solving new problems.Good mechanical aptitude and spatial reasoning.Able to explain complex subjects to persons of all backgrounds.
