Job responsibilities will include preparation of Section 106 structures inventories and evaluations; background research for architectural and archaeological investigations (including archival research, site file checks, historic overviews, context development, and cemetery surveys); and preparation of technical reports of findings. Applicant must meet Secretary of Interior standards for architectural historian and have an MA in architectural history, history, or an associated field. Experience preferred. Familiarity with large format photography, National Register of Historic Places nominations, HABS/HAER/HALS, NEPA, Section 4f, and public involvement considered a plus. Travel required.
