BSME with HVAC Design experience needed ASAP!

Develop residential air conditioners, heat pumps, and associated products. Specific responsibilities will include cabinet, airflow system, refrigeration/heat transfer systems, electrical systems, electric heater development, and packaging design. Job Duties: • Participation as an active member of product development teams • Development of indoor and outdoor air systems • Participate in cost savings and productivity improvements • Air conditioner and heat pump development, including coil circuiting and compressor selection • Material / component qualification and selection • Engineering analysis (such as simulation, finite element analysis, CFD) • Model shop coordination • Determining laboratory test schedules • Prototype development and testing • Engineering data/unit attribute creation • Agency listings (UL, CSA, etc.) Requirements: • Minimum BS in Engineering required (BSME preferred.) • 0-5 years related experience required • 3+ years of HVAC design experience preferred • Fluid dynamics • Thermodynamics • Understanding of refrigeration cycle • Problem assessment and problem solving skills • Good verbal and written communication skills • Work effectively in an open consensus oriented team environment • Conflict management skills • Results oriented individual with an emphasis placed on achieving overall team performance • Familiarity with PC based Windows programs (Excel, Word, Access, etc.) • Ability and willingness to learn Pro-E 3-D solid modeling If you are interested in this position and meet the minimum requirements please forward your resume to jason.vogel@modisit.com .   Company: Modis, Inc.
