Bio-Medical Field engineer - Philadelphia

A leading manufacturer of Medical Imaging products seeks and energetic, highly motivated, and x-ray  Field Service Engineer to service its local customer base.    The ideal candidate will posses exceptional technical skills and equally strong personal skills in order to deal with demanding customers.  This is a home based position requiring excellent organizational skills.  Travel is local.



A leading manufacturer of Medical Imaging products seeks and energetic, highly motivated, and experienced Field Service Engineer to service its Philadelphia/South Jersey customer base.    The ideal candidate will posses exceptional technical skills and equally strong personal skills in order to deal with demanding customers.

Job Responsibilities:

·        Establish & maintain strong client relationships in order to promote exceptional customer satisfaction.
·        Field installation and service of CR/DR products.
·        Management of personal spare parts inventory, service calls, tools & test equipment.

Job Requirements:
·        2-5 years of Field Service experience in a Healthcare environment (CT, CR, X-Ray)
·        AA/BS is Electronics, Biomedical, Computer Technology or related discipline. CRES (Certified Radiology Equipment Specialist) preferred
·        CompTIA Net+ Certification (or equivalent training).
·        Extensive experience supporting Microsoft desktop platforms (W2K, XP, Vista).  MCP preferred.
·        Extensive electronics & electro-mechanical service experience in a Healthcare setting.
·        Solid experience installing & troubleshooting MS Windows, TCP/IP, and DICOM networks.
·        Exceptional customer service skills a must!
·        Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills.
·        Self-discipline to work with very limited supervision.
·        A "whatever it takes" attitude
