Because our clients expect our senior consultants and PMs (and BD resources) to be technically strong, this person needs to be highly competent in industrial water and wastewater and able to lead large proposal development teams. The ideal candidate will lead both client development through leadership of the core CH2M HILL team and by successful delivery of water and wastewater projects. The engineer must have demonstrated consulting project execution success on permitting, consulting, studies and design projects for industrial clients in the oil & gas/refining, mining and petrochemical industries. Services supported include water/wastewater technology, permitting and compliance. The ideal candidate will also be versed in air quality and related permit/compliance issues.This strategist will become a core part of CH2M HILL’s industrial water/wastewater team, with a focus on growing clients through quality delivery. Ability to build strong client relationships is crucial. This person should be able to demonstrate their history of expanding work areas with existing clients and growing new, productive relationships. Position will also include development of internal relationships to support the overall growth and success of CH2M HILL’s global operations, mentoring mid-level staff, supporting cross-business unit activities and stewarding client satisfaction.Networking within industry organizations, technical seminars and trade shows, including delivery of technical presentations.QualificationsEducation: BS Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering, proper work authorizationYears of Experience: 15+ years Primary Skills: Proposal management, client development / satisfaction, biological wastewater treatment technology, general industrial water systems technology as applied to mining, refining, petrochemical and strong written/verbal communications.
