CAD Draftsman

Valmark Industries, Inc., one of the leading custom label, graphics and membrane switch suppliers in the bay area seeks CAD Draftsman with 2+ years of experience.

Qualified candidates must be a highly motivated, detail oriented, organized person who is willing to work as part of an Engineering team.

 

Qualifications:Highly experienced in AutoCAD 2000 or 2004High experience in Illustrator and Macromedia Freehand.Proficient in Solid Works is a plus.  Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to interface with customers and manage internal projects.Dependable work history with strong time management skills.Practical Problem solving skills.Professional, courteous and confident telephone skills.Maintain accurate records.

 

This position reports directly to the Engineering Manager and includes working with our customers to understand their design needs to implement it into our product.

 

Directly support art, sales and manufacturing with questions and design layout.

 

Compensation is based on knowledge and experience with a full benefit package.

 

Strong experience in a fast-paced production department and an understanding of the color separation process involved with screen print, flexography and digital printing is a plus, but we're willing to bring up to speed the right person with the right attitude, basic skills and work ethic.
