CCS S/W Programmer

M&M Systems Inc. has been providing industrial control systems to many Fortune 500 companies since 1992.  We have a seasoned and well respected engineering and manufacturing team and are now accepting applications to fill a CCS S/W Programmer vacancy.

 

As a key member of the M&M Systems Control System Development team reporting to the Lead CCS S/W Engineer, the CCS S/W Programmer is responsible for accomplishing specialized software tasks for the implementation, test, and delivery of microprocessor-based control systems  The CCS S/W Programmer responsibilities includes: Developing and understanding of M&M Systems' S/W and the process in which a job is completed. Configuring and customizing existing refrigeration control system software modules to meet the customer approved specification.  The task involves completing configuration tables, screen files, and C code development. Assisting in the test of software to verify accuracy before delivery. Assisting in system start-up by interfacing with field technicians to answer questions and resolve start-up issues. Provide customer support to end users to assist with training and understanding of M&M Systems' products and features as well as any software/hardware related issues Other tasks as may be required.

 

The required skills for the CCS S/W Programmer are as follows: 4 year degree in Computer Science or a related field. S/W programming knowledge (prefer C or C++ language) Experience with microprocessor controllers and an understanding of Assembly code Minimum of 2 years programming experience IBM PC computer literate (understanding of DOS and Windows operating systems). Knowledgeable in the use of Windows applications such as Word, Excel, etc. Must possess good organizational, communication and time management skills. Must have a good attention towards detail

 

Desired skills for this position are as follows: Mechanically inclined with a basic knowledge of refrigeration systems. 4 year degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with programming experience. minimum of 5 years programming experience.
