CIVIL ENGINEER

PE AND GENERAL PRACTICE KIND OF PERSON

This position is for someone who would like to live and work in a small East Texas town and work for a 30-year old company composed of great people to work with and around.

Person should be able to perform typical "general practice" civil engineering.  What that means is a variety of projects that one would expect in growing small towns and in dealing with towns and municipalities.

The work typically consists of projects involving:small land developmentscommercial projects in small municipalitiesstreet and roadway workcounty road workwater, sewer and utility projects

Our goal is to find a PE interested in living and working in a small community.  Someone who will get excited about Friday night football and local projects and enjoy being part of a small community.  Someone who would like to walk to work each day or drive in 15 or 20 minutes from the countryside.

As you see, this position is as much about the desire to live and work in a small town as it is about the engineering skills one posesses.  If you have that desire to "move to country" or a small town, this could be a great position for you.

Salary is commensurate with experience and equal to "large firm" salaries.
