This role provides division-wide support to management and staff for the implementation and administration of HNTB?s HR programs and initiatives, policies and/or procedures. The Divisional Consultant is an active participant in division business planning, strategic and day-to-day planning, related to on-going and future operations to better understand business/client needs. The position acts as a point of contact between field and corporate HR for the development, execution and administration of firm-wide HR initiatives and programs. There is significant contact with divisional offices, levels of staff and management both within and between divisions through peer consultants and Corporate HR staff. Provides guidance and communicates information directly to local office HR Contacts for their implementation. Also, communicates directly to division employees in coordination with local office leadership and HR Contact representatives, based on the nature of the communication. Monitors and contributes to the facilitation/presentation of all HR related programs (e.g., employee survey, ESOP, etc.) and provides appropriate feedback to the Division President, HR Manager and Senior VP HR-CBS. Possess 7 plus years of related human resource experience; prior experience in generalist role would be beneficial. Prior recruiting experience utilizing a wide variety of sourcing techniques required.? Incumbent must be highly self-motivated, able to work independently with little or no direct supervision. Must be able to establish appropriate goals and priorities and remain focused on achieving desired results. ? Incumbent must demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills, both inside and outside the organization and be able to effectively communicate throughout all levels. Must be able to relate on an individual and group basis as needed.? Incumbent must also possess good listening skills and be empathetic to the needs and demands of managers and employees. ? Must demonstrate proficient PC skills; including knowledge of most Microsoft Office applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet experience. ?
