Essential Qualifications: Must have US Citizenship BS Engineering required  - Chemical Engineering preferred Be able to understand of NASA Loads model Be familiar with the requirements verification process Highly motivated self-starter Excellent verbal and written communication skills within a team setting Good computer skills Responsibilities: Primary Task:  Develop a detailed working knowledge of the Trace Contaminant Control Sub-Assembly (TCCS) on-board the ISS, including all components and software. Responsible for all activities associated with working IFIs, ARTs, PRACAs, life extensions, manifest activities, and any other tasks that come up for the TCCS.  Develop a working knowledge of the Russian BMP trace contaminent removal device on board the ISS to better understand integrated system capabilities and issues.  Study performance behavior of the TCCS with respect to contaminent loading and multi-contaminent interactions.  Perform analyses of system performancewith respect to total ISS trace contaminent loads (reference NASA Load Model), and work with cognizant NASA engineer to understand the verification process for the TCCS requirements by ISS stage.  Be the ECLS liaison to the Internal Thermal Control System (ITCS) team working to develop an ECLS compatible ITCS biocide, suchas gluteraldahyde. Conform and support all NASA, JSC, & MEI safety requirements and procedures May require other duties as assigned
