This position will interface with local plant operations and contract construction resources as well as remote design center office resources.For consideration you must meet the following:· Design process systems (piping, pumps, valves, conveyors, material and energy balancing) for projects related to consumer products manufacturing. · 5 years of field experience, preferably in a plant environment, with liquid batch mixing, blending, and processing. · Design of sanitary fluids handling systems. · Develop P&IDs, detailed equipment specifications, construction packages, system designs, etc.· Able to conceptually develop project scopes and technical solutions when working with operations/maintenance personnel· Able to execute tasks within budget and scope. · Lead small to large size projects having increasing value and contribution to the firm. · Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines. · Must have the ability to both give and follow direction and to collaborate with, train and lead team members.· Strong familiarity with AFT-Arrow and Fathom and AutoCAD software and able to make changes as needed.Qualifications•Basic Qualifications• BA/BS Chemical Engineering• 5 years of applicable experience• Field experience, preferably in-plantPreferred Qualifications• EIT or PE Registration preferred• AutoCAD P&ID skills• Sanitary (foods) design experience• Familiarity with AFT Arrow and Fathom software• Design experience with hazardous systems• Inter-discipline design coordination skillsBenefits: Medical and Dental Plans Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance Short Term and Long Term Disability Income 401(k) Plan with company match Employee Ownership Paid Time Off Program Flexible Work Scheduling Business Casual Dress Learning and Development Opportunities Tuition ReimbursementEmployee Assistance Program Voluntary Auto and Homeowners InsuranceCompany Profile:Employee-owned CH2M HILL is a global leader in engineering, procurement, construction and operations for public and private clients.
