Civil Engineer/Civil Draftsman

Tripp Engineering is a full service civil design firm. We design commercial and residential projects of all types throughout southeastern North Carolina.We have been in business for 13 years, and we wish to continue our growth by including new, smart, motivated, hard working people into our organization.




We are currently hiring for two positions:

Civil Engineer -individual must be AutoCAD proficient, and be able to perform site plan designs for commercial and residential projects. Drainage calculations, grading plans, erosion control, public utility and road design are required. 


Civil Draftsman - to prepare civil site plans using AutoCAD software.  Also responsible for a variety of clerical, technical, production and design activities associated with the permitting process for residential and commercial projects. 

Requirements For Civil Engineer: Engineering degree from an accredited college with E.I. or eligible to take exam.  Experience in site plan design, drainage calculations, and road design. Proficiency with AutoCAD 2004 or higher; experience with Land Desktop a plus. Ability to manage multiple project and meet client deadlines.

 
 Requirements for Civil Draftsman: Proficiency with AutoCAD 2004 or higher and familiarity with site plan design.  Experience with Land Desktop a plus.  Excellent organizational and communication skills.  Ability to work well with clients, state and local permitting agencies.  Ability to manage multiple projects and meet client deadlines.
