  San Jose or San Francisco or Walnut Creek!! Position: Wastewater Collection System Planning Engineer

Location: San Jose, San Francisco, or Walnut Creek (depending upon candidate preference)

Salary: $80,000 to $100,000 plus medical, dental, 401K, vacation, etc

 

Our client is a water/wastewater, planning & design, consulting engineering firm with offices throughout California. They are looking for a mid to senior level Wastewater Collection System Planning Engineer to work in one of their Northern California offices.   

 

Ideal candidates will have:BS in Civil or Environmental engineering, MS desired but not requiredMinimum of 8 years experience with sewer master planning and modeling, sewer condition assessment, and I/I studies.  Experience in sewer system rehabilitation, operations and maintenance is also desirable.  Excellent writing, communication, organizational, teamwork, mentoring and computer skills are a must.  Candidate should demonstrate a depth of understanding of sewer planning issues, and should be able to lead planning and modeling projects or tasks with little direction or oversight. Ability to delegate work to others and mentor and train staff on collection system planning and modeling projects Ability to interface with clients, track budgets and prepare invoices and progress reports Experience with ArcGISExperience using model such as InfoWorks or SWMM. Previous consulting experience is highly desirable.
