Baker’s Phoenix office opened in 1986 with only four employees. Since that time, rapid growth in the Phoenix Metropolitan area has created the need for new and improved infrastructure, and in turn, exciting new opportunities for Baker employees. Now, with over eighty people, Baker’s Phoenix office has four service lines, including Transportation Engineering, Water Resources, Architecture/Facilities and Environmental Services. Through these lines, Baker provides services in the areas of transportation planning and design, structural, architectural and planning, environmental, water resources, geospatial technologies and construction services.
The Traffic Engineer's responsibility is to study, analyze, and design traffic related issues and produce associated reports and plans. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in the planning, studies, analysis, design and implementation of traffic engineering solutions.
Requirements:Minimum of a BS degree in Civil Engineering or related field Professional Engineering license Minimum of 5 years experience specific to traffic engineering work Moderate travel Good problem-solving and communication skills Capabilities to work in a dynamic environment and conduct multi-tasking efforts are essential
