Employment Status: Full Time

 

Location: Mesa, AZ

 

 

Responsibilities/Duties:

Provide construction management and/or construction administration functions related to environmental and/or non-environmental construction. Provide drafting/designing expertise using AutoCAD Land Desktop or related architectural/engineering software. Provide senior level understanding of civil engineering concepts related to drainage, paving, grading, site development, hydraulics, hydrology, etc.

 

Experience Requirements:

Candidates should have a B.S. degree in Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Surveying, or offer some combination of education and practical experience that allows them to perform many of the functions identified in the Responsibilities section of this form. Candidates should have 5-10 years or more of directly applicable experience in a progressive engineering environment where civil project experience is well documented and evident. Strong safety record, understanding of OSHA and similar safety programs is required.

 

Skills Requirements:

Proposal preparation, drafting/design of civil engineering features, basic cost estimating, ability to interact with and coordinate with similar peer group, ability to interact with and adequately represent Versar, problem resolution, understanding of work flow requirements and work progression, experience with or exposure to environmental, civil, excavation, drainage, concrete, tenant improvements, mechanical systems, or and related construction activities.

 

Education:

Minimum A.S. degree with 8-10+ years of experience/B.S. preferred with 5-10+ years of experience or some combination of education and experience that demonstrates proficiency and skills required (above). PE preferred desirable in shortest time possible.
