Transportation Project Manager

Our client is a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm has an exceptional opportunity for a Transportation Project Manager to join our Green Bay, WI office.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: managing WisDOT design projects which includes managing a project team, scheduling, budgeting, facilitating project meetings, being primary contact for clients and quality control.  This position will also be involved with marketing activities such as preparing proposals and public presentations. Travel will be necessary.

 

The successful candidate must have: 

bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil engineering and must have at least seven years of relevant engineering experience in the transportation field. 

Wisconsin PE registration or ability to obtain registration within the first six months of employment is required.

 

The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following experience:

experience with design of highways and/or bridges; experience with WisDOT project development process; experience with geometric design software; ability and willingness to market services to potential clients; experience and/or familiarity with preparing marketing proposals and contracts; overseeing project teams; excellent communication skills.
