We are looking for a dynamic, aggressive professional that desires a leadership position developing and managing water resource (stormwater, consumptive and environmental permitting) projects on a regional basis.  This is a rare opportunity with an existing technically advanced group, with a strong backlog and an excellent client base. You will be responsible for assisting in the leadership and development of the Water Resources team of 20-25 professionals. 



Specific Responsibilities Include:Marketing, procurement, contract negotiations, and technical execution of improvement projects, such as master planning and feasibility studiesDesign, permitting, preparation of plans and specificationsForming project teamsCommunicating and ensuring project performance within allotted budgets and schedulesEnforcing QA/QC measuresHaving the ability and willingness to provide mentorship and training to the junior staffEncouraging continuing education through attendance at and/or presenting at professional conferencesMaking presentations to governmental bodies and the public at large as required

You will also lead the technical execution of stormwater improvement, watershed management planning and roadway/site drainage projects.  Specific tasks include stormwater quantity and quality modeling, GIS data development, water management system design, drainage investigations, client interaction, and permitting.

Qualified Candidates Will Possess:BSCE with a Florida Professional Engineering license (or ability to obtain within 6 months) 8+ years' progressive experience, including experience in staff supervision and project management Significant experience in the areas of water management, master planning, drainage design, plans preparation and FDEP, ACOE and WMD permitting is required Experience with water quality modeling and understanding of the NPDES and TMDL programs is desirable, as is familiarity with the following software: ICPR, SWMM, Arc-GIS, AutoCAD and Microstation
