The responsible party will interface closely with marketing and engineering in the creation, scheduling and maintenance of the commercial product plan.  Specific duties include and are not limited to: Work closely with marketing to create detailed product specifications / project objectives for the project teams Provide direction in the creation, scheduling and maintenance of Technical Literature and the product launch Research and access the impact of Environmental / Governmental Affairs Develop the overall product strategy, including detailed product and financial objectives Conduct focus group meetings with customers, stakeholders and associates Perform competitive market analysis on products and controls Provide direction / coordination / support to the multidiscipline project teams to achieve project objectives Participate in developing the strategy for the equipment selection software and provide technical support for the program Track and assess ARI statistical data to access market share / competitiveness of designs Communicate technical ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiencesCandidates should possess the following qualifications: Five years or more experience in the HVAC and / or controls industry Demonstrated understanding of HVAC building automation system controls and protocol languages a plus Strong planning, forecasting, organizational and presentation skills Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field preferred Demonstrated understanding of HVAC equipment, controls and project management concepts Proven ability supporting technical aspects of unitary HVAC products and corresponding selection software Excellent written, oral communication, and problem solving skills
