Commercial Property Facility Engineer

General:  Facility engineer for office building in downtown Cleveland.  HVAC experience required.  Provides maintenance services, perform preventive maintenance tasks, and identify and repair facility breakdowns as they occur.



 

We are looking for an experienced hands on commercial

building maintenance person.  The sucessfull candidate will have

experience including plumbing, carpentry, electrical and HVAC

knowlege.  This person will perform work orders and have to interface with

tenants and outside contractors. 

 

Duties:

 

1.)  Identifying areas in need of repair, and correcting same.

2.)  Perform all PM and maintenance tasks assigned in a timely manner.

3.)  Keep all mechanical spaces neat, orderly and clean.

4.)  Make necessary electrical equipment repairs

5.)  Make minor plumbing repairs.

6.)  Basic knowledge of steam operation (heat exchangers, steam trap, turbines)

7.)  Basic computer skills

8.)  Maintain blueprints, technical manuals, daily logs and facility information in a neat, cataloged and updated condition.

9.)  Promote and enhance positive relationships with co-workers and client personnel.

10.)  Comply with all building policies, procedures and directives.

11.)  Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed.
