Communications Engineer

Gnostech Inc, a small business defense contractor, based in Warminster PA, has an immediate opening for an experienced Communications Systems Engineer to support our growing DoD engineering services business.  Primary duties are reviewing and assessing the development, design and integration of both commercial and DoD classified / unclassified communications systems.  In this position, the qualified applicant will function as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to evaluate the design and viability of proposed solutions from the prime contractor.  The primary on-site location for this position will be Moorestown NJ.

 

Individual should possess a strong technical background with concentration in both commercial and DoD communication systems.  Hands-on experience with the integration of shore, afloat and airborne communications systems is desired, this experience should cover the HF, VHF, UHF and EHF frequency ranges.  Candidate should be experienced in mobile IP voice and data communication technologies.  Individual must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently.  Good verbal/written communication and organizational skills required.  3+ years of communication system engineering experience and a four-year degree in related field are required.  USCG and Navy-related project background is a plus.  Applicant must be a US citizen and the ability to obtain a security clearance is required.  Great opportunity for growth and advancement.  Excellent salary and benefits.
