Location: Baton Rouge, LA 70809 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Quality Assurance/Safety Experience: 2+ to 5 Years       Job Description   Job Description: Tyco Flow Control (TFC) is the largest manufacturer of valves, actuators and associated flow control products in the world, serving the oil and gas, chemical, power generation, petrochemical, waterworks, and pulp and paper industries, as well as the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and specialty markets.  TFC generates approximately $3BB dollars in revenue and employs 15,000 associates in over 80 locations around the globe.  TFC Americas has an exciting role for Compliance (EHS) Representative.   SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Assume the leadership role in the successful implementation and management of the Health, Safety & Environmental and also the Quality Control & Assurance programs for Tyco Valves & Controls Baton Rouge office. JOB DUTIES:Ø Must be customer oriented and willing to work overtime as required. Understanding this may involve evening and weekend call out, often times with very little notice.Ø Perform other duties as required. Administration of safety policies and programs to ensure that the Tyco Flow Control Baton Rouge facility is in compliance with OSHA, other nationwide safety and health requirements and that employee safety programs are carried out. Ø Coaching, teaching, and reviewing the Baton Rouge TFC site for compliance to highest EHS standards. Ø Coaching, teaching, and reviewing the Baton Rouge TFC site for compliance to highest quality standardsØ Facilitate programs effectively with and through other management staff to obtain results. These activities will be coordinated with the TFC Baton Rouge Service Manager as a support to the overall Tyco Flow Control EHS and quality Programs. Ø Implementation of loss control measures including those required by FM Global, local fire departments and Tyco and TEPS best practices. Ø Implement environmental management system within Baton Rouge operations including the distribution and communication of initiatives; and Environmental Health & Safety credentialing. Ø Responsible for the TFC Baton Rouge offshore EHS program which includes but not limited to announced/ unannounced offshore safety and quality audits, acting as direct contact for offshore safety concerns 24/7 and insuring that all offshore employees are properly trained and up to date with safety and product training.Ø Maintain offshore databases, ISN/ PEC.Ø Assist in the ongoing development of the Baton Rouge QC/QA programØ Conduct announced/ unannounced QC/QA audits within the Baton Rouge organizationØ Assist in QC/ QA RCA processes QUALIFICATIONS:  Ø Physical tasks include walking, grasping, carrying, lifting, seeing, hand-eye coordination, listening, writing, speaking and traveling.Ø Mental tasks include reading, interpreting, analyzing, calculating, measuring and communicating.Ø Work is performed offshore and also onshore.
