Pneu-Logic Corporation, a fast growing progressive company based in Portland, Oregon, designs and implements the world’s most advanced industrial compressed air management and control systems.  Energy costs have become a significant factor in the decision making process of industrial facility management and as such, energy efficiency coupled with reliability are the key design criteria in all Pneu-Logic management systems.

 

Pneu-Logic is looking for experienced and highly motivated Engineers to join our team. Responsibilities and duties would include:

 Perform compressed air system evaluations at customer manufacturing facilities. Develop instrumentation plans, including type of instrumentation and installation locations within the compressed air system, for energy data logging.Travel to customer facilities to manage the installation of data logging instrumentation.Perform baseline analysis and ‘what if’ scenario simulations on collected data.Interpret analysis and simulation results. Summarize findings in a written engineering report as a deliverable to customers.

 Manage the design and installation of Pneu-Logic management systems.Develop, review and approve engineering production drawings.Work with manufacturing to ensure panel build matches design; perform quality control tests.Work with customers to coordinate project schedules and deadlines.Operate in a technical consulting role for installation contractors and or customer installation personnel.Perform onsite systems testing for functionality and quality control.Perform management and control system start-ups at customer facilities.

 

University Degree – BS (or higher) in Engineering or similar is required.  Professional registration is expected when eligible.

 

Strong aptitude for problem solving and trouble shooting in both mechanical and electrical systems is paramount.

 

Strong interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written are an absolute must.

 

Engineering or technical support experience within the industrial compressed air industry would be helpful but not absolutely required.
