We are seeking an experienced software applications developer for a position with our group at the Naval Research Lab (NRL).This position focuses heavily in C/C++, JAVA, and network programming with the responsibility of supporting R&D programs. The ideal candidate has a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering or related field and 3-5 years of experience in this field. Also you must possess experience in C/C++ and possibly JAVA. You should have some working knowledge of networking issues, and at a minimum, some network programming. Some database work is also expected to occur in this position.The successful candidate must be able to favorably complete a background check with granted Interim Suitability which is required for this position.
